Reatha Barker

Reatha Barker, 94, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. She was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church where she served as church secretary for many years. Reatha was also active in bowling leagues for fifty years. Her husband, Taylor Barker; sister, Edna Pace; and a brother, Mike McDowell, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Teresa and Leon Baker, Leisa and Steve Slater; her sister, Betty Lee; her four grandchildren, Kathy Long, Tracey Westmoreland, Tiffany Jaworski and Joel Slater; and her six great-grandchildren, Ciara and Matthew Long, Heather, Grace, Wyatt and Mathias Westmoreland and Lauren Slater. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. today, Aug. 10, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Don Lasley officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
