Edna Ray

Edna Mae Ray, 63, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Rising Fawn. She enjoyed yard sales and flea markets and was a member of the Rising Fawn Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hattie Williams; sister, Betty Grant; and brother, Johnny Williams. Survivors include her loving husband, David Ray; daughter and son-in-law, Allison (Stacy)Whitley of Fort Oglethorpe; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan (Jessica)Dehart of Rossville; sister, Cindy Howell of Rising Fawn; brother, Norman Williams of Rising Fawn; four grandchildren, James Whitley, Brianna Whitley, Dakota Dehart and Shayla Dehart; nieces, nephews and a host of church family and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m. EDT today, Aug. 11, in theTrenton chapel with Rev. Chris Hagler officiating. Burial will follow in Hanna Cemetery.
