Sandra Pappas

Sandra Lee Pappas, 66, a resident of Ooltewah passed away Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at her nephews home. She passed away in her sleep. She grew up in Bridgeton, N.J. and moved to Ooltewah with her mother in the early 1980s and lived with her sister, Peggy Jennings. She attended Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church and she was one of Gods special children. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Charles and Ida Jarrett Pappas. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Jennings; brother, Harry Pappas, of Ooltewah. She had nieces and nephews, Terri Ellen Grego, Timothy R. (Christie) Jennings, Bill R. (Linda) Jennings Jr.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Anne Jennings, Christi (Gary) Blankenship, Michael (Stephanie) Land; great-great-niece, Lennox Land. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, in Collegedale Memorial Park. Pastor Mike Pettengill will speak at the service. Arrangements are being handled by Grissom-Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
