Claude Lemons

Army retired Master Sgt. Claude E. Lemons, of Soddy-Daisy, waged many wars in his lifetime both on the battlefield and off but finally succumbed to his last valiantly-fought, four-year battle on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014. Webster defines a hero as "a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities. Services will be held at noon today, Aug. 14, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Cox and the Rev. Larry Gravett officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memory Gardens with military honors. Matt Bettis, David Everett, Jack Kennedy, Gabriel Sanchez, Jackie Tucker and Richard Walker will serve as pallbearers.
