Thad Drennan CHICKAMAUGA Thad Charles "T.C." Drennan, 85, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in a local hospital. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and was also retired from North Park Hospital as a food service supervisor. He was a 50-year member of Duncan Park Lodge #234 F&AM, and was a member and Deacon Emeritus at Peavine Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thad Charles and Ava Sue Drennan; and two brothers, Ralph Holden Drennan and Arville Ray Drennan. He is survived by his wife, Mae Drennan, Chickamauga; a son, Steve (Brenda) Drennan, Rossville; two daughters, Carla (Jerry) Cooper, Rock Spring, and Shawna (Eddie) Cooper, Ringgold; and a sister, Charlotte (Lewis) Gothard, Ringgold; and grandchildren, Jerrod Cooper, Lamar Adams, Robin Whitaker, Lori Clemons and Lilah Patterson. The body will lie in state at Peavine Baptist Church from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, followed by the service with Dr. Stephen Anthony and Rev. Denny Patrick Officiating. Interment will be in Peavine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Peavine Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
