Calvin Taylor

Calvin Lebron Taylor "aka" Shorty and Candy, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014. Calvin attended Chattanooga public schools and was an employee of Bojangles Restaurant on East 23rd Street for 15 years. Calvin adored his mother and younger brother, Alvin. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Taylor; sisters, Shirley Ann Taylor and Jeanetta Ash-Lee; brother, Anthony "I-By" Ash. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Ash Taylor; sisters, Elerion Ash (Linnell) Richmond; Christine Ash (Eddie) Caldwell; Regina Carter; and Edith Taylor; brothers, William Taylor Jr.; Alvin (Mildred) Taylor; Willie Lee (Virginia) Ashley; and Dwight Ash. Along with uncles and aunts, Melvin and Mae Hampton; Helen Taylor and Robert Taylor. He had devoted friends, Lester Jones and Annie Bell Jones; Elgiteen (Ms. Tina) Joshen and daughter, Cynthia Joshen; Anthony Hicks; Alesia (Lil Lisa) Sanders; Lebron Wilkins; Latricia (Treece) Lloyd; Robert McConnell; Mr. and Mrs. Philex and Peggy Suttles; John Black and the Douglas family. His Memorial service will be held at New Enon Missionary Baptist Church, 2302 Wilcox Boulevard, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014.
