Edward Wines

Edward Clifton Wines, 91, longtime educator within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 13, 2014, in Signal Mountain. Mr. Wines was Vice-President for Advancement and Public Relations at Loma Linda University; President of Southwestern Adventist College, Keene, Texas; and Principal of Enterprise Academy, Enterprise, Kan. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Moneta Caviness Wines; son, Edward E. (Cherie) Wines; daughters Muriel Wines Phillips (Scott Saylor), and Mary Ann Wines (Randy) Graves; and eight grandchildren. Pastor Jack Banlo will conduct a Service of Remembrance at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, in the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church, Collegedale.
