Eva Rhodes

Eva Deloris Hullender Rhodes, 74 of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Newell E. Rhodes; parents, Garnnie and Ella B. Lowery Hullender; and brother, Samuel D. Hullender. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Timothy) Wright, Rhonda Glenn, Mike Rhodes, Teresa (Will) Acuff and Marty Rhodes; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to www.gideons.org in her honor.
