Leola Crutchfield

Leola Crutchfield, 94, of Chattanooga, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Robert Crutchfield, to whom she was married 40 years; mother and father, Betty and Sullivan Burns; brother, Willie Burns; sisters, Sarah Bell and Rachel Burns. Survivors include her close relatives: Willie Mae (Everette) Allen, Chattanooga, Ophelia Rodgers, Cleveland, Ohio, Kimberly Wells, Chattanooga, Felesia Williams and Gregory Burns, Jacksonville, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Elder Wilbert McClure officiating. The body will lie in state from noon-7 p.m. today, Aug. 18, at the funeral home.
