Hureschal Sandidge

Hureschal James Sandidge, 83, of East Brainerd, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at his home. A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Sandidge was retired from McKee Bakery and was a Korean Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a longtime member of Morris Hill Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Martha Schmitt Sandidge; four sons, Steven Sandidge, of Ringgold, Dewayne, Kevin and Tim Sandidge, all of Chattanooga; daughter, Lisa Carden, McMinnville, Tenn.; brother, Lester Sandidge, Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
