Paula Steele

Paula Elaine Steele, 47, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Steele. Survivors include her mother, Wanda Lynn, of Chickamauga; special companion, Eric Powell, of Ooltewah; two brothers, Carliss Shirley, of Rock Spring, Ga., and Randy Steele, of LaFayette, Ga.; and special friend, Linda Duff, of Chickamauga. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Warren Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
