Juanita McCrobie

Juanita Brown Padgett Frogge McCrobie, 88, born July 11, 1926, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014. Survived by children, Jimmy (Billie Jean) Padgett, of Nashville, Ronald (Wanda) Padgett, of Harrison, and Gerald (Gina) Padgett, of Cookeville; grandchildren, Eva (Joseph) Fuller, Janice (Bryan) Ware, Jennifer Padgett, Denise Padgett, Tricia (Chris) Broom, Erin (Jason) Kirouac, Abby (Curtis) Prichard and Hannah Manske; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Also survived by sisters, Ellen Sisco and Rita (Jack) Parker; three nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Enoch and Mary Phillips Brown; sister, Noble Yalazon; brother-in law, Carlen (Jr.) Sisco; and grandson, Jonathan Padgett. Widowed three times, she was blessed to share her life with husband and father of her children, Granville Padgett, husband, Willie O. Frogge, and husband, Hosea Pete McCrobie. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Monterey. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. CDTtoday, Aug. 21, from the Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with interment in the Welch Memorial Cemetery in Monterey. Visitation will be from from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CST today at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.
