Paul Hamilton

Paul Rowland Hamilton, 78, died at his residence on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014. He was a retired employee of Combustion Engineering and a member of Rossville Church of God. Paul was the patriarch of a large loving family and is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Welden Hamilton. Other survivors are daughters, Rhonda Gail Hamilton and Angela C. Hamilton Funderburk, both of Fort Oglethorpe; sisters, Rosiland Haynes and Betty Lou Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Heritage Funeral Home chapel with Brother Roger Aultman officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
