Ann Durham

Lavinia Ann Clark Durham, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at a local health care facility. She loved writing her poems, doing crossword puzzles and playing with her dogs. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church, Woodmoore. She was a graduate of Tyner High School and had attended Chattanooga State. Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Della McDaniel Clark; and brother-in-law, James Lewis. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her father, Haskell M. Clark, of Chattanooga, three sisters, Penny Johnson, of Atlanta, Jean Lewis, of Chattanooga, Gail Goodman, of Swansboro, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Chris Johnson, Shannon Edmondson, Amy Stanley, Caitlin Goodman; and several great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
