Eliza Chambers

Eliza Chambers, 60, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at a local hospital. She was a faithful member of Mt Canaan Baptist Church where she attended until her health failed. She is survived by her father, Hezekiah Watkins Sr.; three brothers, Roosevelt Watkins, Hezekiah Watkins Jr., George (Ophelia) Watkins; two sisters, Glady (Walter) Pritchette, Mary Walker. She also leaves to cherish her memories one grandchild, Tyler J. Chambers; several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Visitation is 1-7 p.m. today at the Chapel. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Trammell Chapel 913 ML King Blvd with the Rev. Ternae Jordan officiating. Burial: Highland Cemetery.
