Frances Middleton

LaFAYETTE Frances Louise Holcomb Middleton, 46, passed away Saturday, Aug.23, 2014. She was born Feb. 20, 1968 in Greenville, S.C., was of the Christian faith, and she enjoyed, gardening, cooking and singing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Edgar Holcomb. Survivors include her husband, Chris Middleton, of Chattanooga; parents, Curly L. Holcomb Sr. and Sybil E. Kelly Holcomb, of LaFayette, five children, Candace Wright, of Summerville, Kayla Middleton, of Signal Mountain, Ashley Holliday, of LaFayette, Jordan (Shawn) Carey, of Gainesville, Jonathan Lovell, of Oakwood; brother, Curly Lee Holcomb Jr., of LaFayette; sister, Linda Holcomb, of LaFayette; five grandchildren, Tyree, Gracie Mae, Zamora, Judah and Landon; nephews, Thomas and Blake Holcomb; niece, Chasity Holcomb. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in LaFayette City Cemetery.
