Grace Pullin

Grace Inez Pullin, 84, of Dayton, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Memorial Hospital. A longtime resident of Rhea County, she was a well-known and gifted seamstress. She helped people and loved her turkeys. She was a giving person and also an organ donor. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pullin; parents, Giles Page and Lillie Mai Green Givens; sister, Norene Higgins; and brother, Wallace Givens. Survivors include her three daughters, Patti Burton, of Hixson, Debra (Ship) Shaver, of Dayton and Carol Faye Ferrell, of Chattanooga; three sisters, Gretta Spaulding, of Lookout Mountain, Ga., Joann Kehoe, of Ohio and Elaine Tidwell, of Von Aqua, Tenn.; brother, L.D. Givens of Cincinatti, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev.
