Eunice Hixson

Eunice Basham Hixson, 95, passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lola S. Hixson; parents, Fred and Callie Basham; brothers, Gene and Paul; sisters, Dorcas, Dorothy, and Johnnie. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitwell and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Myrna (Charles) Brown; granddaughter, Tracey (Tommy) Gann; grandson, Danny Shirley; great-granddaughter, Laura (Keith) Holt; great-grandsons, Levi, Nicholas and Mitchell Shirley; great-great-granddaughter, Hannah Holt. Funeral services will be held Monday 1 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Diehl, Rev. Kriss McGowan, and Rev. Phillip Layne officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.
