Valarie Crouser

Valarie June Crouser, 50, passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014. She has been a resident of Chickamauga for the past seven years, and was of the Catholic faith. Valarie retired from Publix in 2013 after 27 years, and was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Adrian and Gloria Lorik Crouser; and brother, James Crouser. Valarie is survived by her daughters, Deana Crouser and Kaitlyn Crouser of Chickamauga; sisters, Laura Hernandez of Miami and Tracey Lake of Seattle, Wash.; brother, Thomas (Carol) Crouser of Flintstone; close family friend, Bernard Armont; niece, Jessica Crouser; nephew, Bryan Crouser; and several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga, Ga.
