Pauline Swift

Pauline Durham Swift, 86, died unexpectedly at her home Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. Mrs. Swift was born June 11, 1928, to the late Nathaniel and Matilda Partin Durham. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Swift; sister, Dorothy Durham; brothers, Johnnie and Leeman Durham. She lived in Indianapolis, Ind., for many years before moving to Dunlap in 2012 and was formerly a member of West View Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She is currently a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church and has served the Lord faithfully since she was a teenager. Survivors include her sister, Irene (Nolan) Brim, Dunlap; brother, Eugene (Anna) Durham, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Iva Durham and Susan Durham; stepchildren, Norman Swift, Caneyville, Ky., Patty Decker, Payneville, Ky.; two step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; special niece, Pam (Phil) Kiper, Dunlap. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. CST today, Dec. 15, in the Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ray Brim officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. CST Monday before the service. Another service and burial will be held Wednesday at Piney Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg, Ky., with visitation being at Ellison Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Tuesday.
