Elizabeth Ward

Elizabeth Fox Ward, 101, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and retired from Signal Knitting Mills. She was a member of NARFE, OES and Moccasin Bend Chapter of DAR. She was the widow of Edward "Ned" Ward and also preceded in death by her brother, Wilfred Fox. Survivors are nephews, Winfred Fox, Randy Fox, David Fox and Richard Pickert. Visitation is noon-1 p.m. today, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Dale Wyrick officiating. Burial is in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
