Walter Boggess

Walter Lee Boggess, 76, of Ooltewah, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Grace Boggess; and a brother, Gene Boggess. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Boggess, Ooltewah; children, Randy (Pam) Boggess, of Etowah, Tenn.; Joyce Boggess, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Josh (Kelley) Boggess, Athens, Tenn.; Daniel Boggess, Etowah, Tenn.; Benjamin (Kayla) Boggess, Madisonville, Tenn.; Adam Boggess, Etowah, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Payton, Brantley and Bristol Boggess; brother, Roy (Grace Ann) Boggess, Ripley, W.Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon today in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Broom officiating. Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery.
