Y. C. Cothron

Mr. Y. C. Cothron passed Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 in Macon. Preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Julia Cothron; a beloved wife, Naomi Ruth Paris Cothron; daughter, Margaret Smith; sons-in-law, Robert Mitchell and Johnny Harrington; two sisters; and five brothers. Survivors: daughters, Ruby Mitchell, Linda Harrington, Wanda Bennette (Michael), Angela Boddy (Julian), Bonita Cothron; son, Alton Cothron (MaryAnn); sister, Mary Frances Gardner; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. He retired from Mueller Co. in 1972 and was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Services are noon Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
