Betty Cambron

Betty Harris Cambron, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014. Mrs. Cambron was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church, a graduate of Central High School and was proud to be the first female Warehouse manager for Ralston Purina Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Cambron Jr.; parents, James and Rose Ann Harris; sister, Gladys; and brothers, Lloyd and James Harris. Surviving are her four sons, Bill (Nancy) Cambron, of Chattanooga, Mark Cambron, of Chattanooga, Jim (Lana) Cambron, of Ringgold, Ga., and Chris (Jennifer) Cambron, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Mark (Bethany) Cambron, Amanda, Christie, Lizz, Zach, Elle and Miles Cambron; three great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Sue) Harris of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 21, at the funeral home with Dr. Robert Lloyd Harris officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday.
