Angelo Nobile

Father Angelo Nobile, 86, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014. He was a priest in Tennessee for many years and moved to Florida following his retirement, where he served as an associate priest. Father Angelo graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga and Mount St. Marys Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio. He just celebrated 60 years in the ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Brasco Nobile, and a sister, Jane Ashenbramer. Survivors include his nieces, Kathy (Gary) Romans of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Martha White of Mobile, Ala.; one nephew, Geno Ashembramer of Chattanooga; several cousins. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
