Donald Roberson Sr., 74, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away at his home in Soddy-Daisy on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. Don is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Mildred Roberson Don is survived by Patsy, his wife of 54 years; son, Donnie (Faye) Roberson; daughters, Cheryl Vanwinkle (Chris Smith) and Teresa (Greg) Everheart; three brothers, one sister and 12 grandchildren: Jimbo, Alisha (Bobby), April, Steven, Alisha S., Anthony, Kelly (Michael), Kenny (Linsay), and Tiffany; eight great-grandchildren, Haydon, James, Gaige, Gavin, Maddie, Kenna, Garrett, Keeton. He was the owner and operator of Dons VW Repair Shop for 35 years. He belonged to the Antique Car Club for 25 years and was on the board for two years. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and from noon-2 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service for Don will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Place officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
