Everet Anderson

Everet Anderson, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. He was a member of Griffith Church of Christ and a member of the International union of Operating Engineers. Everet was preceded in death by parents, Rufus and Josie Belle Anderson; brother, A. J. Anderson; sister, Dorothy Jean Anderson; grandson, Cameron Slate Marsh. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Anderson, Pikeville; children, Joyce (Russell) Simmons; Bobby (Sharon) Anderson; Toddy (Junior) Lewis; Jackie (Mitchell) Marsh, Dwayne (Phyllis) Anderson, all of Pikeville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline (Denton) Henderson, Pikeville, and Ruby Lee Smith, Chattanooga; brothers Alton, Edward (Wanda), Johnny (Rhonda) Anderson, all of Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jeff Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.
