Helen Hudson

Helen Jean Long Hudson, 71, departed this life Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014. She was born in Findlay, Ohio to the late Herbert and Naomi Long. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Wilson; and her husband, Ken Hudson. Survivors include her children, Chrissy (Josh) Bell, John (Kelly) Hudson, all of Ringgold; siblings, Kay Suddreth, of Florida, Larry Long, of Ohio, Rose Long, of Ringgold, Sue Salisbury, of Ohio; grandchildren, Katelynn, Abby, Jacob, Toby, Melody; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in the chapel with Rev. Tom Long officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday. A burial will be held at a later date in Ohio. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
