Blanche Owens

Blanche Millsaps Owens, 94, passed away at home on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Soddy-Daisy. As an elementary school teacher she spent most of her career at Daisy Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Eddie Owens. She is survived by her son, Edward (Charlsie) Owens and daughter, Debbie (Jimmie) Hixson, all of Walland, Tenn.; granddaughter, Misti (Donnie) Cardwell; and grandson, Todd (Amy) Owens; and four great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service with Bryant Millsaps officiating will follow at Millsaps Cemetery.
