Allison Jones

Allison Jones CHICKAMAUGA Mary Allison Jones, 22, died on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. Allison was a member of First Baptist of Fort Oglethorpe. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed making bows and badge holders. Allison loved her dogs, Gracie and Macy. She was a caring and compassionate person who will be forever remembered as a "gentle lamb." Survivors are her mother, Laura Jones; father and stepmother, Kevin and Vanessa Jones; sister, Heather Bethune; her adored niece, Kirklynn Bethune; grandparents, Wayne and Charlie Rasbury and Shirley Jones; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Melony Rasbury, Tim and Karen Sanders, and Mike and Cathy Jones; numerous other relatives and friends. For memorials, the family suggests the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe with Pastor Jason Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens South. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
