Robert Colburn

Robert Gary Colburn, 61, of East Ridge went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014. He was a member of Frawley Road Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class. Mr. Colburn loved working in his yard growing beautiful plants and flowers. He was an avid listener of all kinds of music. A graduate of Kirkman High School and Chattanooga State Technical Community College, he was employed at ShermanReilly as a machinist for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Evelyn Colburn; and two brothers, Harold Goforth and John Colburn. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Colburn; two daughters, Kelly Colburn and Lindsay (Jeremy) Alsobrook; one grandson, Harper Alsobrook; brother, Charles Colburn; two sisters, Margaret Pennington and Marilyn Minor; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Frawley Road Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Wolfe officiating. There will be no visitation.
