Estelle Gossett

Dora Estelle Gossett, 85, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in an area hospital. She retired from Signal Knitting Mill after over 45 years of service and was a member of Tiftonia Baptist Church. Her husband, James R. Gossett Sr. and son, Charles Ryan preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, George (Kathy) Gossett, of Chattanooga and James R. Gossett, Jr., of Chattanooga; sister, Frances Brown, of Kingston, Tenn.; grandchildren, James Wesley Gossett, James Cody (Kaleigh) Gossett, Johnathan Tyler Gossett, Justin (Crystal) Tipton and Jason (Beth) Tipton; great-grandchildren, Barrett, Kelby, Maddox, Briley, Knox, Hollis and Braxton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Brandon and Rev. Everette Gossett officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens West with Les Gossett, Cody Gossett, Justin Tipton, Jason Tipton and Tyler Gossett serving as pallbearers.
