June 13, 1950-Dec. 24, 2013 The Doctors say you had an enlarged heart and they were right. While looking through your things I found what set you apart and gave you that enlarged heart. Three stars that were in your jewelry box, two silver and one gold along with a certificate of honor bestowed in recognition of outstanding achievement in LOVING YOUR RESIDENTS written in bold. You never bragged or never told of the achievements which you did hold. Many years you gave your love.... Watch death loom in many rooms as they took their last breath to finally rest. You comforted and console....You grieved inside as if your family had died. You were a Nurse with skills indeed....You served with compassion, mercy and grieved. Its not about money, ones status or gain.... Its about understanding ones pain. You were a special Nurse collecting a life full of treasure. Piece by piece it came together.... Filled your chest then you were laid to rest. As I held your face in my hands, watching you take in your last breath I realized the effects of seeing death. You are a FREEBIRD now. Free to fly to places unknown...To let go of the pieces you have known for so long. Dedicated to the lives she touched and those that touched hers. Renea
