Julian Norwood

Julian Ray Norwood, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldridge Norwood and mother, Edith Cochran. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Amy Norwood, of Dalton; grandchildren, James Pritchett Norwood and Caitlyn Armistead Norwood, of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Ralph Waguespack, of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Nancy Thomas, of Dalton. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service for Mr. Norwood will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon until the hour of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. The family asks that flowers be omitted and donations be made in Memory of Mr. Julian Ray Norwood to Waldorf School at 827 Kirk Road, Decatur, GA 30030.
