Norma Cannon

Ms. Norma Faye Cannon, 63, of Harrison, went to be an angel for Jesus on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 with her family at her bedside. She is preceded in death by both parents Robert Lee "Doc" Duncan and Mrs. Mildred May Duncan both of Harrison and one infant grandson Gilbert Edward Hicks II also of Harrison. She is survived by daughters, Angela Hicks,of Harrison and Lisa Layne, of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Tiffany McElrath, of Chattanooga, Amanda Hicks, of Dayton, Tenn., a very special grandson Gilbert "Sonnie" Hicks, of Harrison and "Baby" Brittany Hicks,of Harrison also Matthew and Ashley Layne of Harrison. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernie and Ken Duncan both of Harrison, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends. A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at 5 p.m. at Lakeway Baptist Church on Highway 58 with Brother Dennis Ray officiating.
