Corinne Huggins

Corinne N. "Tommy" Huggins, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014. Mrs. Huggins was born and raised in Chattanooga, was a graduate of City High School and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was also a member of China Painters Guild, Chattanooga Gardening Club and had previously worked as a Patrol Mom for Woodmore School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Huggins; and parents, Rollie and Elizabeth Norris. Surviving are her children, David (Pam) Huggins, Paula McConnaughey, Beth (Jeff) Combs and Barry (Kay) Huggins; grandchildren, Allen, Kandy (Chip) and Michael Huggins; great-grandchildren, Tristan Huggins, Christian Richards, Piper and Bodie Huggins and Cole Griffin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Flynn officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christ UMC Life Program or St. Andrews Center.
