Harold P. Anderson, 90, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014. Harold was born in Youngtown, Ohio, to Howard and Ogla Anderson in 1923. Upon graduation he joined the Navy for four years and Coast Guard for one year. He played the saxophone in the Naval Band the last two years of his service. He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ogla Anderson, and "Aunt" Helen Cromwell. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Anderson; three children, Paulette (Robbie) Roberts, of Norfolk, Va.; Jeff (Sue) Anderson, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Sheila Floyd, of Charlotte, N.C.; two stepsons, Bobby (Susan) Snyder and John (Kim) Snyder, of Soddy-Daisy; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
