Elzada Tittle

Elzada Tittle, of Dunlap, formerly of Wildwood, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014 at her nieces home in Dunlap. She retired from TVA after 35 years of service. Elzada was a longtime member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed her membership with the hiking club and being involved with different organizations. She was preceded in death by her companion, Ernest Zorn; parents, John E. and Daisy Tittle; brothers, John E. Tittle, Jr. and Nat Tittle; sister, Katherine Austin. Elzada is survived by her nieces and nephews, Joanne (Earl) Condra, of Whitwell, John (Charlyn) Austin, of Olympia, Wash., Fred (Janice) Austin, of Beattyville, Ky., Kathy Austin, of Dunlap, John (Freddie Ann) Tittle, of Ooltewah, Linda (Ralph) Moser, of Harrison, Patricia (Mickey) Stephens of Hixson and Shirley Fisher, of Kennesaw, Ga.; and many great-nieces, nephews and one great-great-nephew. The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the North Chapel. Services for Elzada will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the sitters, Susie Waters, Penny and Patty Ruth for their love and care given to Ms. Tittle. They would also like to thank Hearth Hospice for everything they have done for the family and Ms. Tittle. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Elzadas name to Wauhatchie United Methodist Church, 3401 Cummings Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37409 or to your favorite charity.
