Richard Kevin Lee, 62, formerly of Bridgeport, Ala., died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, following a struggle with abdominal cancer; however, he was a survivor of pancreatic cancer for more than 12 years. He was born Sep. 26, 1951, in Bridgeport, Ala.; graduated from Northeast Alabama State Junior College, was a member of the combat engineering Army National Guard company in Bridgeport before active duty assignment with the 36th Field Artillery in Europe. Kevin was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Kevin worked in the industrial sector in Chattanooga and also at TVA's Widows Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Morgan Lee and Jessie Heaton Lee. He is survived by brothers Ron (Dianne) Lee and Bruce Lee as well as nieces, Amanda (Jeff) Cutshall, of Birmingham, Ala., Allison Lee, of LaGrange, Ga., and Leannah Lee, of Hollywood, Ala.; and nephews, Justin Lee, of Goodlettsville, Tennn. and Cameron Lee, of Hollywood, Ala. Interment will begin at 1:30 p. m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The Rev. Heidi Bender and Hubert Matthews will officiate.
