David Sterchi

Christopher David Sterchi passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at the age of 61, surrounded by family. David was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Gordon Andrew and Celia Elisabeth Lundy Sterchi. Survivors include his wife, Melody; daughters Rachel Elliott (Phil), of Signal Mountain, Jill Wilson (Travis), of Tallahassee, Fla., and Virginia, Sarah and Elisabeth Sterchi and son David Sterchi, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Drew (Peggy), of Cloudland, Ga. and Gregory, of Atlanta; sister, Suzan Russell (Rusty), of Signal Mountain; stepmother, Jewell Sterchi, of Athens, Tenn.; six beloved grandchildren; stepchildren, Graham Courter and Dillon Courter; brother-in-law, Ernest Hartline; first wife, Joanne Stanfield; a large extended family and many friends.
