Willie Hurd

Willie "Bill" Hurd, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Preceding Willie in death was her husband Charles Randel Hurd. Survivors include two daughters Brenda Sue Winningham, Raleigh, N. C., Diane (Dennis) Harvey, Graysville; two sons Randel Hurd, Athens, Steve (Karen) Hurd, Burlington, N. C.; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bess Humble, Houston, TX., Mamie C. Taylor, Blue Ridge, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Service will be Wednesday Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery.
