Brenda Nicholson

Brenda Vivian Chandler Nicholson, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Christian faith. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Nelson and Martha Ray Chandler; and sister, Dorothy Jordan. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (George) Varnell, of Ringgold, Veranda Fredrick, of Powder Springs, and Suzette Butler, of Daytona Beach; daughter, Nena Harris; grandchildren, Shawnee Dawda, Alexandra Dawda and Angelique Dawda; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Forrest Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Knight officiating. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
