Sabra Ellis

Sabra Elaine Ellis, 35, a resident of Hixson, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, in a Chattanooga hospital. She attended Clear Creek Church of Christ. She received a BS degree from UTC in 2013 majoring in communications and served in the MOSAIC program in 2012 and 2013 at UTC. She served as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Pevehouse Ellis. Survivors include her father, Richard Ellis, of San Marcos, Calif.; one brother, Cory Ellis, of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Brooke Musick of Oceanside, Calif.; four aunts, Karen Ellis Yaniga, of Pawleys Island, S.C., Joann Ellis Hamm, of Williamson, N.Y., Jude Ellis, of Bloomfield, NY, and Bonnie Pevehouse, of Rossville; fiance, David Hale, of Hixson. A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland with Pastor Mark C. Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
