Johnny Kirk, Sr.

Johnny Lee Kirk, Sr., 72, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Bruce Kirk and Margretta Kid; brothers, Robert Lee Kirk and Wade Peter Kirk. Survivors include daughters, Mary (Freddie) Smith and Ernestine Kirk; sons, Johnny Kirk, Jr. and Phillip Kirk; special friends, Mildred Brooks and Freida Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and close friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Rose of Sharon Senior Villa and Hearth Hospice for their care and concern. Graveside services will be held Noon, Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 at Forest Hills Cemetery. The body will lie in state after Noon today and the family will receive friends from 7 8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
