Robert Simpson Robert Earl Simpson, 84, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at his residence. He was a Deacon and member of New Liberty Baptist Church, a member of the Quipman Masonic Lodge #106 and worked at Goodman Hyde & Leather Co. for many years. He also was the owner of B.J.'s Knives in Ringgold, Ga., and was a sales representative for Frost Cutlery Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Katherine Beene Simpson; grandson, Robert Earl Simpson; parents, Earl T. and Virgie Brown Simpson. Surviving relatives; sons, Rodney (Patsy) Simpson, of Graysville, Ga., Gerald (Marlene) Simpson, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Edwin Simpson, of Graysville, Ga.; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 14, 2014 at New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Henson, officiating. The interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
