Adam Brock

Adam Wilson Brock, 33, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, after a short illness at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. On the moment of his death a rainbow appeared over Cleveland when he joined his grandparents, Wilson and Mary Ann Rigney, Harlend and Patsy Overby; stepfather, Johnny Meeks and a cousin, Kristie Hamilton, all of Cleveland. Adam graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1998. He attended MTSU in Murfreesboro. He worked for 12 years as a manager at OCharleys Restaurant in Cleveland and was currently employed with Firebirds Grill as a kitchen manager. Adams passions were basketball, playing guitars with his brother and most of all spending time with his beloved daughter Minnie. Adam leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, David K. Brock and Regina Rigney Burns; a daughter, the love of his life, Minnie Ray Brock; two brothers, Randy Brock and Jonathan Meeks; a sister, Rachel Meeks; nephews, Brody and Tyler Santoro; aunts, Linda Overby, Clyma Reid (R.L.) and Dianne Morrow (Jimmy); uncles, Don Hamilton (Dianne) and James Rigney (Sue); and numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends. A celebration of his life is planned for 7 p.m. today, Jan. 16, 2014, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church located at 3405 Peerless Road in Cleveland, Tenn., with the Rev. David Webb officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 until the 7 p.m. service time today.
