Alma Holloway

Alma Ann Holloway, 71, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Erlanger. A lifetime resident of Spring City, Alma was the daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Keylon Cagle and was a graduate of Spring City High School. She was a beautician for over 50 years and owned and operated Fashionette Beauty Shop and currently worked at Mane Attractions. Alma also owned and operated Fashion Florist for many years. She currently worked part time at Vaughn Funeral Home on the visitation staff. Alma was a member of Spring City Foursquare Church. She was an avid sports fan and loved UT football and the Lady Vols. Alma was preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie Morgan and Hazel Grigsby; and brother, Carter Newman. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Ronnie Holloway, of Spring City, children, Barry (Felicia) Goodman, Susan (Gary) Garwood, Bryan (Glenda) Goodman, Jamie (Amy) Holloway, all of Spring City and Lisa (Randy) Weaver of Crossville; sisters Edith (Earl) Jolley and Charlene Gibbs, both of Spring City, 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Spring City Foursquare Church with the Rev. David Daniels, Rev. Danny Carter and Rev. Dale Wyrick officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 16, 2014, at the funeral home.
