Emma Bell

Emma Mae Bell, 83, went to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. She was born in Walker county to the late Jim and Vernie Bowers Bell. She was a former employee of Parkridge Hospital in Chattanooga where she worked in housekeeping. She was a lifelong resident of Walker County. She was a member of Kensington Church of God and the former Beginners Sunday School Class teacher. She enjoyed gardening, as well as working in her yard and most of all she loved her church family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edmond Wirchball Sr., W.R. "Bill" Wirchball and Alfred Wirchball-Bell. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lillie and Clifford Forrest, of Chickamauga; sisters-in-law, Mary Wirchball, Flora Lee Wirchball, Louise Wirchball-Bell; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday morning prior to the service at the funeral home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in the chapel with the Rev.
