Johnny Rowe

Johnny T. Rowe, 79, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at his home. He was half Cherokee Indian and had been in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Etheleen Rowe; brothers, Billy Clifford and Frank Everette Rowe; sisters, Imogene Rowe and Jo Ann Brown; stepdaughter, Ellen Reavis; and stepgrandson, John Gregory. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Jane Rowe; daughter, Marie Helquist; son, Johnny Taylor Rowe Jr.; step-daughter, Sarah Gregory; grandchildren, Michael John Montgomery, Sabrina Riopta and Nicole Rowe; several stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Irene Holloway. Memorial services will be private. Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Rossville.
