Billy Goodson

Billy Goodson, 68, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at his home. He was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church, and was a supervisor with Dixie Yarns, Borg Textile, and Plant Manager at Instant Turf. He also owned and operated Goodsons Grocery in the 90s. His last job was as a salesman for J & E Auto Sales. He loved fishing "trading", collecting antiques, and friendly wagers among friends. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Goodson; and a son, Chad Goodson, both of Ringgold; and a daughter, Marlo Carlton, Chickamauga; a brother, Harold Goodson, Dozier, Ala.; and a sister, Wilene Corbin, Montgomery, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Heather and Dylan Carlton, Chickamauga, and Lillie Goodson, Ringgold.
